Vibha screamed and said, “We have been cheated. We will come back to take revenge for this betrayal. We will come back to punish this palace and this family for their deeds. Kunwar Pravardhan, this time we will come as your hatred, not love.”
The flames of fire engulfed Vibha’s house.
200 years later
London
Morning time
In a luxurious kitchen in a big palace-like house, a woman whose age was around 40 years was ordering the servants to prepare food. Since it was morning time, breakfast was being prepared there.
The woman was wearing a sari and was looking very decent.
Kanti Rathore was standing in the kitchen and was instructing the servants, “Vibha has to go to India by the afternoon flight, prepare her breakfast quickly. My niece will not go hungry.” The servants started working faster. Breakfast was almost ready when Kanti looked at the clock hanging on the kitchen wall. She was shocked and said, "OMG! It's 10 o'clock and this girl hasn't woken up yet! There's a flight at 1 o'clock, Bhai sahab will get angry if she misses the flight."
Muttering, Kanti came out of the kitchen and started calling loudly, "Vibha! Vibha beta, wake up!" She climbed the stairs and reached the third floor, calling out loudly, where Vibha was fast asleep in a large and luxurious room. The decoration of the room told the story of her professional life—wedding decoration samples, photographs of weddings and receptions from different countries and regions, and colorful charts were displayed everywhere. It was clear that Vibha was a wedding planner.
Kanti reached inside the room and seeing her sleeping, she held her head. "This girl... she should wake up on time sometimes!" She started trying to wake Vibha up while muttering.
Vibha turned over and muttered, "Aunty, five more minutes... just five minutes!"
Kanti held her forehead and went near the bed and said, "What will happen to you in five minutes? The flight is at 1 o'clock and you are still sleeping! Get up quickly, breakfast is ready."
Vibha rubbed her eyes and replied with a light smile, "Aunty, I am a superwoman, you will see, everything will be done on time."
Vibha was a beautiful and confident girl of 22 years, whose every gesture had a different shine. Her big black eyes seemed to be made to steal everyone's heart, and the depth in those eyes was such that anyone would get lost in them. Her long, thick eyelashes made her face even more attractive. Vibha was fair in complexion, but a pink aura always reflected in her, as if the light of the morning sunlight was falling on a fresh rose.
Her long, silky hair often fell on her face, which she would push back with a light smile, and that smile was her greatest beauty—full of simplicity and confidence. Vibha's nose was delicate and straight, which enhanced her sharp facial features even more.
Her slim and shapely body had an innate charm. Her gait reflected a grace and intimacy at every step. Whenever she spoke, her sweet voice made the listener feel like a melodious tune. Her beauty was not just external; she had a different kind of energy and positivity towards life, which attracted everyone towards her.
Kanti stared at her and said, "Become a superwoman later, first get ready! Right now you are our cute lazy girl, come on child, get up quickly."
Vibha got up from her bed and quickly went to the washroom.
"I am taking out your clothes. Get ready and come for breakfast." Kanti said this and opened the cupboard to take out clothes for her.
Some time later
Vibha was combing her hair sitting in front of the dressing mirror in her room. The view outside was visible from the big window in front- blue sky and the tall towers of the city. Just then her phone rang. Her light smile deepened as "Papa's" name flashed on the screen. She immediately picked up the phone.
"Hello, Papa!" Vibha said chirping.
A deep, serious voice came from the other side, "Vibha beta, how are you? Are you getting ready for the flight?"
"Yes Papa, I am almost ready. Bua sa has created a ruckus so early in the morning," she said smiling.
Sanjay Rathore laughed slightly, but then a special seriousness came into his voice. "Son, there is one more job I want you to do. You have to go straight to our Raja Sa's palace. The marriage of both his sons is fixed, and he wants you to take care of the wedding planning."
Vibha stopped thinking for a moment. "Sons of Raja Sa? Papa, you know I am a professional, but they are very close to our family. How can I—"
Sanjay interrupted her and said, "Look Vibha, this job is not just about wedding planning. Raja Sa wants a balance of our traditions and modern ways. You don't know, but his younger son Kunwar Pravardhan has grown up in France, so he wants to showcase the foreign culture along with the Indian culture and there is no one better than you for this. This is an opportunity where your identity can grow even more."
Vibha looked at her watch. "Papa, I have less time, but it's okay. I will talk to my team. I will call you as soon as I get off the flight."
Sanjay said in a loving voice, "I knew my daughter would not refuse. Come on, hurry up. I will tell Raja Sa that our Vibha will take full responsibility of their weddings."
After the call was disconnected, Vibha took a deep breath. Looking at the wedding pictures on the walls of her room, she thought, "This will be my biggest project till date.
Kunwar Pravardhan, I have got this opportunity because of you. You must see how you look like a Kunwar.” There was a sparkle in her eyes and enthusiasm in her heart.
